Sanfu Shipyard Hosts Naming Ceremony for Two Bulk Carriers, China

In the afternoon of June 28th 2012, naming ceremony of two 16.900 DWT Bulk Carriers was held at Sanfu shipyard. It is known that the delivery-related document for 7# 16.900 DWT was signed one day ahead of the naming ceremony.

The delivery-related document for 8# 16.900 DWT was signed on the same day when the naming ceremony was held. These two vessels for which the naming ceremony was held are the last ones of a series of 8 sister vessels built by Sanfu shipyard for Polish ship owner.

The vessels are a single screw motor ship, fitted with one controlled pitch left-handed propeller, suitable for operation on heavy fuel oil up to 700CST at 50 ℃。The ships have five cargo holds, engine room and accommodation aft, transom stern, bulbous bow with one bow thruster 600 KW and are ABS classed.
