Sanoyas Shipbuilding: Indigo Heritage Bulker Delivered

Japan-based Sanoyas Shipbuilding Corporation has delivered a new Supramax bulk carrier to Cleveland Shipmanagement.

The naming and delivery ceremony for Indigo Heritage was held at Sanoyas’ Mizushima Works and Shipyard on September 5, 2019.

As informed, Indigo Heritage is the eleventh ship of the 60,000 dwt type completed by the shipbuilder. The design features an energy-saving hull and a bow shape which enable high fuel efficiency during operation.

In addition, the newbuild is equipped with environmentally-friendly technologies, complying with the latest IMO regulations.

With five cargo holds and a capacity of 77,067 cbm, the bulker has a length of 200 meters and a width of 32.2 meters.

The Liberia-flagged Indigo Heritage has already commenced its maiden voyage and is en route to Vancouver, Canada, according to the latest AIS data provided by VesselsValue.
