SapuraKencana in New Contract Wins

SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad’s wholly-owned subsidiary SapuraKencana Australia has secured multiple contracts for light well intervention and decommissioning services.

The scope of the first project included provision of light well intervention services to Woodside Petroleum.

SapuraKencana performed the work using the SID light well intervention system and SapuraKencana Constructor vessel.

The second contract for decommissioning services at the Balnaves field the company won from Woodside Energy Julimar.

According to the company, the contract is for the several phases of the Balnaves decommissioning project, located offshore North-West Australia. The contract duration is approximately six months.

In addition, SapuraKencana secured another light well intervention contract on call-off basis with Shell Australia.

The company will be utilizing its light well intervention system and vessel. The duration of this contract is said to be five years.
