Scherbon to sell APG dual fuel conversions in New England

American Power Group said that its subsidiary, American Power Group, has signed a Certified Installer and Dealer Agreement with Scherbon Consolidated of Amesbury, Massachusetts for training and certification to sell, install and service APG’s Stationary Dual Fuel Conversions in New England.

Scherbon Consolidated has been designing, installing and maintaining wastewater pumping stations and emergency power-generation equipment for over forty years throughout New England.

Scott Scherbon, Founder and CEO of Scherbon, stated, “We’ve been keeping both prime power and backup generators running for many years in New England and are excited about the opportunity to bring APG’s dual fuel upgrade solution to the market. As CNG and LNG become more and more available here in New England, we see many opportunities for dual fuel retrofits both in applications for prime power and for extending run time in backup power situations.”

Lyle Jensen, CEO of American Power Group, stated, “We are pleased to have Scott and his team join our ever-expanding network of Stationary Certified Installers and Authorized Dealers. With over four decades of industrial generator sales and service experience, Scherbon is the perfect partner to introduce our new aftermarket dual fuel solution to the many long-term relationships they have created throughout New England. APG’s innovative Turbocharged Natural Gas® system provides the broadest conversion coverage for a wide range of diesel engine models and horsepower in the industry.”
