Sections of Roerborg Bound for Germany

Huge ring sections for m.v. Roerborg, being built at shipyard Ferus Smit, are placed on the car park as well as the slipway of shipyard Royal Niestern Sander.

The ring sections, built by Niestern Sander, will be loaded on a barge before they can be shipped to Leer, Germany.

Sections of Roerborg Bound for Germany

The m.v. Roerborg measuring 169.75m in length, a width of 20.4m and depth of 13.75m is the sister vessel of m.v. Reestborg and m.v. Reggeborg. These 23,000 DWT dry cargo multipurpose vessels are equipped with two box shaped holds.

The expected delivery of the m.v. Roerborg is August next year.
