SKKMigas: LNG Output to Climb Nearly 6 Percent

Indonesia’s exports of liquefied natural gas will remain at a similar level compared to 2013, while output will rise nearly 6 percent in 2014, according to SKKMigas.

LNG production was expected at approximately 306 cargoes (just over 17 million tonnes) this year,” said Arief Riyanto, chief of the commercial gas division of SKKMigas, Reuters informs.

Of that total, Indonesia will export 268 LNG cargoes, Riyanto added.

Indonesia produces LNG at its three export terminals – Arun, Badak and Tangguh. These three terminals have a combined capacity to produce 43.9 million tons of LNG per year.
