Songa Offshore CEO Delighted with Fleet Operational Uptime

I am very proud of the Songa Offshore employees that deliver 100% operational uptime on all four rigs in operation. This shows the quality that we have in our Songa Offshore operations, both in the North Sea and in South East Asia, said Bjornar Iversen, CEO of Songa Offshore SE today, commenting on the company’s rig fleet status report for September 2013. 

Songa Venus achieved an earnings efficiency of 99% during the month working for Mubadala Petroleum in Malaysia.

Songa Mercur continued its operational preparations and acceptance testing for eniVietnam. Acceptance testing is estimated to be completed early next week.

Songa Trym achieved an earnings efficiency of 97% during the month working for Statoil in Norway. The rig was operating 100% of the month. However, the earnings efficiency was negatively impacted by the rig being on a 93% Standby rate periods of the month.

Songa Dee achieved an earnings efficiency of 96% working for Statoil in Norway. The rig was operating 100% of the month. However, the earnings efficiency was primarily negatively impacted by the rig being on a 93% Standby rate periods of the month.

Songa Delta achieved an earnings efficiency of 100% working for Statoil in Norway.
