Songa Offshore Releases March Fleet Update

Songa Offshore, a Cyprus-based drilling contractor, has announced its drilling rig fleet status update for March 2013.

Songa Venus achieved an operating efficiency of 99% during the month continuing working for Petronas Carigali in Malaysia.

The rig is currently underway to Labuan Malaysia where it will undertake regular inspection and recertification of the well control system for a period of approximately four to five weeks prior to commencing the earlier announced Mubadala Petroleum program in Vietnam.

Songa Mercur achieved an operating efficiency of 99% during the month continuing working for Zarubezhneft in Cuba. The rig is currently in process of pulling its BOP for evaluation of shear ram malfunctions and technical inspection of connector bolts in accordance with Manufacturers instructions. The campaign in Cuba ends June 1, and the rig will thereafter be demobilized back to Asia where the rig is actively marketed.

Songa Dee achieved an operating efficiency of 99% during the month continuing working for Statoil in Norway.

Songa Delta achieved an operating efficiency of 100% during the month continuing working for Statoil in Norway.

Songa Trym achieved an operating efficiency of 97% during the operational part of the month after completing its upgrade project and commencing its 3 year contract with Statoil in Norway March 3, 2013.
