South Hook books more LNG from Qatar

The UK’s South Hook LNG terminal is scheduled to receive another cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar later this week.

The 263,000 cbm Q-Max carrier Al Samriya, one of the largest in the world departed from Ras Laffan and is scheduled to arrive at the terminal on January 30, shipping data reveals.

The South Hook terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total. The terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
