South Hook LNG books first March cargo

The South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal in the UK is scheduled to receive its first cargo of chilled gas in March.

Milford Haven Port Authority data reveals that the 2007-built, 210,110 cbm LNG carrier Al Ruwais is set to dock at the UK terminal’s jetty on March 1.

The vessel is set to deliver its cargo only two days after another Q-Flex vessel, the 210.110 cbm LNG carrier, Duhail unloads its cargo on February 28.

The South Hook terminal has the capacity to process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
