South Korea: April LNG Imports Climb 29 Pct

South Korea, the world’s second-largest buyer of LNG, imported 3.51 million tonnes of LNG in April, up 29% from the same month in 2012, customs data showed.

The country imported 4.17 million tonnes of LNG in March, up 19.5% compared to March in 2012.

South Korea paid $2.61 billion for the LNG imported in april, compared with $2.15 billion a year earlier.
