South Korea Oct LNG Imports Rise

South Korea, the world’s second-largest buyer of LNG, imported 3.19 million tonnes of LNG in October, up 19% from the same month in 2012.

Most of the October LNG imports came from Qatar (1,212,549 mt) and Malaysia (458,531 mt).

The average LNG price paid rose to $14.42/mn Btu in October, compared with $12.99/mn Btu in October of 2012.
