The memorandum of understanding will promote collaboration and the development of opportunities by the duo both in the fields of gas infrastructure and renewable fuels as well as gas-to-power projects, smart grids and cryogenics, according to a Reganosa statement on Monday.

The geographical area that the joint effort will cover will be across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin-America.

“Both parties have great hopes for the alliance, as it combines the strength of a powerful global corporation with the knowledge and readiness to design made-to-measure solutions in the gas sector,” the statement said.

To remind, Sojitz bought a 15 percent stake in Reganosa in October last year.
