Esvagt’s newbuild offshore service vessel Esvagt Njord has been freshly launched today at Nauta Shiprepair Yard, Poland, marking the first vessel launching at the yard for this year.

The partially outfitted OSV features 84 meters in length and over 17 meters in width.

Once completed, Esvagt Njord will be dispatched in September to operate at the 400 MW Dudgeon offshore wind farm off Norfolk, UK. There the ship will be providing accommodation and transporting personnel and equipment needed for maintenance of the offshore wind farm.

Norway’s Havyard Ship Technology designed the vessel, which will have the capacity to accommodate 40 wind turbine technicians.
