In today’s spotted article we are featuring Norwegian Escape cruise ship under construction for Norwegian Cruise Line at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany.

The cruise ship is due to enter service in October 2015.

As the first ship of the Breakaway PLUS class, the Norwegian Escape will combine all the features of the Norwegian Breakaway and the Norwegian Getaway, along with an additional deck.

The Norwegian Escape has a gross tonnage of 164,600 and enough space for 4,200 passengers, making her even larger than the Norwegian Breakaway and the Norwegian Getaway.

The Escape is equipped with five exhaust emission treatment units, known as scrubbers, which will help the luxury liner to exceed the requirements of current environmental standards.

The ship will also feature a novelty on cruise liners know as the snowroom. Located in the spa, this will serve as a refreshing foil to the Caribbean sunshine outside, as well as to the heat of the sauna. The room, which will be kept at a cool 21 to 32 degrees Fahrenheit, will also feature falling snow.
