STL Invests in Business Growth

UK- based Subsea Technologies Limited (STL) has made key capital investments and appointments to support business growth.

STL made capital investments totaling £115k to strengthen and enhance their engineering and workshop capabilities.

In the workshop, STL has installed a new SWL 10t double girder overhead crane, supplied by Street Crane. The new crane provides control over the movement of loads, improving the ability to control the assembly of large components.

In addition the company added new LED light fittings throughout the main workshop area.

Along with the crane and lighting, STL has doubled the pressure testing capacity of the workshop with the purchase of an additional pressure test pump and the creation of a new pressure testing cell.

Furthermore, STL has also made an investment in engineering IT equipment and software.

In addition to STL’s investment in technology, the company expanded its team with nine new appointments in the recent months. This includes the most recent appointment of Iain Fullerton in a new business development role.

Iain Fullerton said, “STL is well known in a niche market. Now that we are making products that can find applications across the whole subsea sector and indeed other industries, I am looking forward to raising the company profile and extending the knowledge of the company to a much wider audience.”
