Sygmat Delivers 6180 HD-SL to La Reunion
The tender to supply a large rope excavator for maintenance works that are in progress on the island of La Reunion in the Indian Ocean has been awarded to Sygmat, Sennebogen’s dealer in France.
According to khl.com, a 6180 HD-SL has been delivered to DEAL, the local port administration. This 180 tonne capacity crawler crane has been delivered together with three attachments.
The crane is supplied with dragline equipment to carry out twice yearly dredging of the access channel to the harbour entrance. An IEV 4000 litre clamshell bucket will be used for dredging of the pontoon or the quay to clean the areas of the mooring boats.
Another attachment, a hoisting crane, will provide protection of the banks with stone or concrete blocks weighing between 5 and 50 tonnes.
