Tender Open for Hollandse Kust Noord Geotechnical Survey

Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) have issued call for tenders for the provision of geotechnical investigation services at the Hollandse Kust Noord Wind Farm Zone.

This soil information will be made available to the participants in the concession tenders for this offshore wind farm zone.

The geotechnical soil investigations of Wind Farm Sites I & II of the Wind Farm Zone Hollandse Kust (zuid) will be the reference for the scope of work.

The total value of the contracts is estimated to be worth €6.5 million.

The tender is divided in 2 lots:

Lot 1 (25-35 % of total value): Executing seabed PCPTs campaign with a target depth of 50-60m.

Lot 2 (65-75 % of total value): Executing continuous sampling PCPT boreholes (with a target depth of 50 – 80m) and seismic PCPT boreholes (with a target depth of 50-60m); vibrocoring; MIC testing; a laboratory testing programme (cyclic and static) on the obtained soil samples and creating a detailed geological ground model.

The tender will remain open until February 1, 2018, and the work is scheduled to start April 1, same year.
