Tepco imported 2.01 million tonnes of LNG in Aug

Japan’s utility Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco) said its imports of LNG in August were at 2.01 million tonnes, compared to 2.08 million tonnes in August of 2013.

Tepco used 2.08 million tons of LNG in August, compared to 2.17 million tonnes the company consumed in August last year.

In April-August period, TEPCO bought 9.74 million tonnes and consumed 9.51 million tonnes of LNG.
