TGE’s LNG fuel system ordered for Herema’s vessel

Bonn-based TGE Marine informed it has recently signed a deal to design and supply LNG fuel gas system for Heerema’s semi-submersible crane vessel. 

The vessel is under construction at Sembcorp Marine’s Jurong shipyard.

Under the contract, TGE will supply a system consisting of eight vertical type C LNG fuel tanks and four parallel fuel gas processing trains, the company’s statement reads.

The delivery of all major components will take place during the first half of 2017.

Scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2018, the NSCV is designed for the installation and decommissioning of offshore facilities and according to Sembcorp Marine it will be the largest dual-fuel semi-submersible crane vessel in the world.
