Thailand: No LNG Imports in April

No LNG cargoes where imported by Thailand in April, according to trade statistics.

The country imported 270,000 mt in January-April period.

Thailand has only one LNG terminal, which is located at the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate in Rayong province, and it joined the club of LNG importing countries with the completion of the terminal in May of 2011.

The Map Ta Phut terminal has a five-million-ton regasification train with two 160,000m³ LNG storage tanks.
