Thailand: September LNG Imports at 89,728 mt

Thailand imported  89,728 mt or one LNG cargo in September, according to customs data.

The cargo was sourced from Qatar onboard the Al Nuaman.

Thailand has only one LNG terminal, which is located at the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate in Rayong province, and it joined the club of LNG importing countries with the completion of the terminal in May of 2011.

The Map Ta Phut terminal has a five-million-ton regasification train with two 160,000m³ LNG storage tanks.
