Thailand: Two LNG Cargoes Imported in July

Thailand imported 117,681 mt or two LNG cargoes in July, according to customs data.

The country imported 600,512 mt in January-July period.

Thailand has only one LNG terminal, which is located at the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate in Rayong province, and it joined the club of LNG importing countries with the completion of the terminal in May of 2011.

The Map Ta Phut terminal has a five-million-ton regasification train with two 160,000m³ LNG storage tanks.
