The Netherlands: Bijlsma Shipyard to Finish Project YN 740 in Novembar

YN 740 is a container feeder of the type 350BCF. The hull is built together with YN.741 at Dongfeng Shipyard in Hangzhou, China.

After a trip across the river both ships where moored on a jetty in Shanghai for further finalizing of last scope of work and for loading sections of inland vessels. After loading and ballasting both feeders, where towed to an island east of Shanghai (Chong Ming Island). To upload the feeders on the EIDE Barge 33. After a towing trip of approximately 80 days the EIDE barge 33 arrived in Vlissingen.

At this moment both feeders are moored in Lemmer. In May this year the company has started finalizing YN 740, which will be delivered in November this year. Last Friday Bijlsma Shipyard towed the Feeder Vanquish YN 740 into the drydock.
