The Netherlands: DNV KEMA Appoints David Walker as New CEO

David Walker (56) has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DNV KEMA. He joins from the position of Chief Strategy Officer for the DNV Group. 

CEO of DNV Group and Chairman of the N.V. KEMA Supervisory Board, Henrik O. Madsen: “David Walker has more than 30 years of international experience covering the entire energy value chain and has been closely involved in the start of DNV KEMA. I am confident that he and his management team will contribute to further strengthening DNV KEMA’s position as a globally leading energy consulting, testing and certification company that can drive the transition towards a safe, reliable, efficient and clean energy future.”

David Walker, new CEO of DNV KEMA: “DNV KEMA has an important role to play in the future of energy – helping our customers build environmentally and economically sustainable businesses in today’s tough economic and risk realities. At the same time, Aad van den Bos (59) will be appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Van den Bos is of Dutch nationality and has 30 years of international experience in senior financial management positions in DNV. Both Walker and Van den Bos will be based in DNV KEMA’s headquarters in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
