ICON Yachts' Maidelle Nominated as Finalist

Once again one of ICON yachts is nominated for the highly regarded ShowBoat Awards – and this time in no less than three categories. Maidelle is nominated as finalist for the interior, exterior and layout ShowBoats design awards 2013.

After hand-over just of the snow blizzard ridden coast of Norway in January, Motoryacht Maidelle is currently cruising the Mediterranean Sea. During her build ICON worked close together with exterior designer Redman Whiteley Dixon and interior designer Cristiano Gatto.

Lloyds registered, MCA compliant, Maidelle offers special features; the special choice of woods, like mahogany, rosewood, ebony and walnut canaletto, all with glossy finishing, and balanced by the presence of natural stones such as Spain natural stone treated with oils.

Beam: 11.40m – 37.40ft

Draught Max: 3.60m – 11.81ft

The shortlisted designs will now be put forward for a second round of judging by a fully independent judging panel of yacht owners, senior yacht crew and acclaimed naval architects, designers and stylists from within as well as outside the marine industry, who will decide the winners of the coveted golden Neptune trophies.

The winners of the ShowBoats Design Award will be announced during a glittering gala evening at the Monaco Opera House on June 21.
