NGVA Europe to Hold ‘LNG 4 Trucks & Ships Workshop'

From 19 to 21 September 2012, NGVA Europe will hold the ‘LNG 4 Trucks & Ships Workshop’ in the city of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The event focuses on LNG, LBG, LCNG, dual fuel vehicles and the corresponding filling station segments, as well as the transportation of LNG/liquefied biomethane to filling stations. This workshop is a certified must attend event for all natural gas related companies.

The gathering will include a unique technical tour, a comprehensive LNG-for-transport workshop, table tops exhibition, vehicle display & technical demonstration, a high-level networking session and a natural gas boat tour along the UNESCO’s Rings of Canals Amsterdam World Heritage. The two-day workshop will be hosted by Ballast Nedam IPM, a globally operating turn-key supplier of complete service and filling stations for alternative & traditional fuels and one of the top-five largest Dutch construction and engineering companies. It will deal with subjects such as gas demand and supply, marine fleet, LNG on dual fuel technology, fleet experiences and the LNG & LCNG filling segment.

All workshop participants are invited to attend the Technical Tour on 20th September, an on-site demonstration of the first commercial LNG filling station that can fuel all types of LNG vehicles at saturated pressures from one dispenser, located in Zwolle, Netherlands. A step-by-step presentation of this station’s operation will be given by trained experts, who will be ready to answer all kinds of questions on the subject.

This NGVA Europe event will be organized by The GVR/NGV Communications Group and sponsored by Emerson Process Management Flow B.V./Micro & Motion Rolande LNG. The truck show and technical demonstration will be conducted by Iveco Schouten LNG (LBG) trucks.
