Tokyo Gas July sales up 9.6 pct

Total gas sales volume by Tokyo Gas of Japan for the month of July 2014 came to about 1,220.711 million m3, up 9.6% to that in July 2013.

In the residential sector, volume totaled 169.828 million m3, up 8.5% from July 2013, while in the business sector, volume totaled 219.256 million m3, down 2.4% from July 2013.

In the industrial sector, volume totaled 642.047 million m3, up 16.3% from July 2013, due to the increased demand for power generation.

Volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 189.580 million m3, up 5.1% from July 2013.
