Barcelona Knutsen LNG carrier’s crew member medevaced off Hawaii

The United States Coast Guard medevaced a 31-year-old crew member of the Barcelona Knutsen liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier some 13 miles south of Oahu, Hawaii, while on its way to Japan.

US Coast Guard approves Rio Grande LNG WSA

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) approved the Rio Grande LNG project’s waterway sustainability assessment (WSA) declaring the project suitable for LNG marine traffic.

A naming ceremony took place on January 12 at the Chinese shipyard Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding for the second of four vessels set to transport liquefied natural gas from the QCLNG project in Australia to China.
