1) Wood Group Kenny Secures Bonaparte FLNG Contract, Australia

GDF SUEZ Bonaparte, a subsidiary of French energy giant GDF SUEZ, operator of the Bonaparte LNG project has awarded WGK a contract for a (pre-FEED) subsea concept definition study for the Bonaparte LNG project.

2) Zeus: Fifty Mobile Fuelers Soon to Serve North American LNG Fuel Markets

As North American fleets of trucks, drilling rigs and other heavy-duty industrial customers tap into greater volumes of North American shale gas, mobile fueling technology is increasingly being deployed to supply LNG, according to a Zeus Development survey.

3) Uruguay Picks GDF Suez for LNG Import Terminal

LNG player GDF Suez of France has won a contract from the government of Uruguay to build an LNG regasification terminal in the port of Montevideo for an estimated cost of $1.125 billion, Uruguay‘s government said in a statement.

4) Shell, Kakinada Seaports Make Progress on Andhra LNG Project (India)

Shell and Kakinada Seaports (KSPL) have achieved two important milestones towards implementing the Andhra LNG import terminal project with the submission of the draft Environmental Impact Assessment report and the signing of the Port Services Agreement.

5) Ichthys LNG Contract Goes to Air Products (Australia)

Air Products has signed an important supply agreement with leading shipyards Samsung Heavy Industries and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd (DSME). The contract covers delivery of nitrogen generator sets for use on the large-scale Australian offshore Ichthys LNG Project, and confirms Air Products’ position as a world leader in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) equipment field.
