Construction Starts at Nordergründe Offshore Wind Site
Offshore construction of the Nordergründe wind farm is kicking off this week, with the MPI Enterprise vessel already loading monopiles and transition pieces in Cuxhaven, according to German media.
Liebherr Installs Custom-Made Offshore Crane on Giant 7
Liebherr’s offshore crane division installed a board offshore crane, type BOS 35000, on the Giant 7 heavy lift barge, which installed the first foundations at the Wikinger offshore wind farm at the end of the last month.
Damen and GustoMSC Set Up Jack-Up One Stop Shop
The Damen Shipyards Group and GustoMSC have started collaborating in order to produce a range of self-propelled and non-self-propelled jack-up platforms for the offshore industries – the DG JACK range.
Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam (DSAm), part of Damen Shiprepair & Conversion, is currently undertaking a major modification and maintenance project on A2SEA’s jack-up vessel Sea Installer, which arrived at DSAm on 10 April.
