USA: DOE Approves Freeport LNG Non-FTA Export Application

The Energy Department of USA said that it has conditionally authorized Freeport LNG Expansion, and FLNG Liquefaction, LLC (Freeport) to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) to countries that do not have a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United States from the Freeport LNG Terminal on Quintana Island, Texas.

Pacific NorthWest LNG Awards FEED Contracts, Canada

Pacific NorthWest LNG Ltd. has awarded Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) contracts for its proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility in British Columbia to three international engineering contractors – Bechtel, KBR/JGC joint venture, and Technip/Samsung Engineering/China Huanqiu joint venture.

LNG Fuelling Station in Spain Officially Inaugurated

The head of the Government of Álava, Javier de Andrés, accompanied by the Mayor of Nanclares de la Oca, José Javier Martínez, and the head of Mobility Solutions at GAS NATURAL FENOSA, José Ramón Freire, today inaugurated Spain’s first liquefied natural gas fuelling station for road freight.
