DSME Delivers Maersk Line’s First Triple-E Vessel

Yesterday, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) delivered the first Triple-E vessel, the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller to Maersk Line. At the moment, the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller is docked at DSME, from where it will depart on its maiden voyage to Russia, on 15 July.

Brazil: Wilson Sons Shipyard Lands $130.2 Mln Deal

Wilson Sons Limited has signed a contract with Geonavegação S.A., wholly owned subsidiary within the Georadar Group, for the construction of two Oil Spill Recovery Vessels (OSRV) with 1,080 m³ of recovered oil storage capacity and one Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) with deadweight of 5,000 t.

DSME Wins Yamal LNG Bid for ARC7 Ice-Class Tankers

OAO Yamal LNG (Yamal LNG) announced today the completion of the tender for the construction of ARC7 ice-class tankers for the shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG). After considering proposals submitted by seven world-leading shipyards, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering was named the winner of the tender and Yamal LNG signed a slot reservation agreement with the selected shipyard.

Lloyd Werft: Contract Finalized for State-of-the-Art Ceona Amazon

Ceona has finalised its agreement with Lloyd Werft for the construction of a new high-capacity vessel, the Ceona Amazon, at a signing ceremony in Bremerhaven. Members of the Ceona management team, led by CEO Steve Preston and Chairman John Smith, were joined by a representative from majority shareholder Goldman Sachs Capital Partners, at the contract signing with Lloyd Werft at the German shipyard last week.
