Trinidad LNG cargo heading for Argentina

Argentina is expected to receive a liquefied natural gas cargo from Trinidad and Tobago, shipping data reveals.

The 126,000 cbm LNG Libra departed from the Point Fortin facility late Wednesday and it is scheduled to arrive at the Escobar terminal on August 24, according to the data.

Atlantic LNG, the operator of Trinidad’s only liquefaction plant, produces LNG from natural gas delivered from fields in and around Trinidad and Tobago.

The four-train liquefaction facility located at Point Fortin on the southwest coast of Trinidad is the sixth largest LNG producer in the world, and the largest such producer in the Western Hemisphere.
