Trinidad LNG Heads for Kuwait

Trinidad shipped an LNG cargo from the Point Fortin terminal to Kuwait on Saturday, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being carried by the 138,000 cbm Sestao Knutsen, and it is due to arrive at the Mina Al-Ahmadi LNG terminal on June 27.

Excelerate Energy designed and constructed the Mina Al-Ahmadi GasPort (MAAGP). Located approximately 20 miles south of Kuwait City, MAAGP was Kuwait’s first LNG import terminal.

It delivers regasified LNG at a baseload rate of up to 500 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) through high-pressure gas arm.
