 Besiktas Shipyard Delivers Tanker Mugan to Palmali Group

The fifth tanker of Armada type built by Besiktas Shipyard in Yalova, Turkey, named Mugan, has sailed from the Shipyard on February 11, 2012. The vessel is a 7,100 DWT tanker, under Armada series, of Project RST22M that Palmali Group ordered from Besiktas Shipyard.

The Project RST22M product tankers are successors of Project 005RST01, or “Armada” first series. The Armada serial ships were designed by Marine Engineering Bureau for Palmali Group.

RST22M Project Particulars:

Length overall – 139.95 m,

Breadth – 16.6 m,

Depth – 6,0 m.

It is fifth out of ten vessels of Project RST22M that Palmali Group ordered from Besiktas Shipyard. The Shipyard plans to perform all orders by the end of 2013 and four of these tankers are already in service.
