Two Trinidad LNG cargoes on way to UK

The United Kingdom is expected to receive two liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes from Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin plant next week, port and shipping data showed on Wednesday.

Teekay’s 135,243-cbm LNG carrier Madrid Spirit is scheduled to arrive at the Dragon LNG terminal located in the Port of Milford Haven on April 4, the port’s shipping data shows.

AIS data by VesselsValue also revealed that BP’s 151,945-cbm LNG tanker British Sapphire was on Wednesday heading towards the Milford Haven port from Trinidad with an estimated arrival date of April 4.

Besides the Dragon LNG terminal, the Milford Haven port is also home to the larger import facility, the South Hook LNG terminal.
