U.S. Senator Landrieu Welcomes DOE LNG Exports Study

U.S. Senator Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., released statement on a Department of Energy commissioned report showing that the United States can responsibly export liquefied natural gas.

“The release today of a study commissioned by DOE on the impact of LNG exports to non-free trade agreement countries represents a strong step forward in the development of our domestic natural gas industry.

“I am pleased that this study suggests a future for American energy which benefits producers through export opportunities and manufacturers through continued low energy costs here at home.”
