UAE: Unique Maritime Group Participates at ADIPEC 2012

Unique Maritime Group, one of the world’s leading integrated turnkey subsea and offshore solution providers, announces its participation @ ADIPEC 2012, being held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), from the 11th until the 14th of November 2012. ADIPEC is held under the patronage of the President of the United Arab Emirates, H. H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and it is the gateway to the Middle East Oil & Gas industry.

UMG has the capability of being able to manufacture, supply and integrate specialized Marine, Survey and Diving equipment to meet specific client requirements. Its product and service range includes the design and manufacture of air, mixed gas & saturation diving equipment, marine winches, certified man-rider winches and specialized subsea equipment.

UMG has taken a huge leap forward in strengthening its Oil and Gas Division by investing in its Specialist Engineering Service Company Unique Wellube FZC , by acquiring a 100% shareholding in the business and integrating the business as a wholly owned subsidiary into the Unique Maritime Group. Unique Wellube FZC will continue to operate from the Group’s headquarters in Sharjah and its operational support bases in Qatar and West Africa.

Commenting on the acquisition Graham McKay, General Manager of Sales at Unique Wellube stated that “ The management expertise, financial stability and determination of the Group senior management team to grow the business globally now truly provides a springboard to build upon what has already been Unique Wellube’s most successful year ever in terms of both revenue generation and expansion”.

Unique Wellube FZC has become one of the GCC’s most accomplished providers of Specialist Engineering Services to all sectors of industry throughout the region and overseas both onshore and offshore, topside and subsea. The services offered include Hot Tapping and Line Stopping, Under Pressure Leak Sealing, In-Situ Machining Services, Pipeline Rehabilitation and Monitoring, On-Line Safety Valve Testing and On-Line Valve Maintenance.

UMG foray in Oil & Gas Division is further enhanced by its Partnership with NATURE Group. Nature group is leading maritime and offshore Waste collection and Treatment Company. Nature’s port reception facility treat all Marpol waste from Annex I-V. Nature Compact treatment Units can treat Waste at any location, both Onshore & Offshore.

Unique Maritime Group (UMG) will be participating in the show (at stand 6054). UMG stand will includes the display of Trelleborg products, EMCE Winches, Kongsberg DP System and Seaflex flexible buoyancy products. Also UMG’s partner like Cargostore will showcase their latest technology on the stand.
