UK: Exmouth Dredging Nears Completion

The grab-hopper dredging vessel, MV Mannin, has been undertaking dredging and improvement works at Exmouth Marina, reports Exmouth People.

Mannin, a 35-metre long and 198-tonne dredger from Padstow, has been removing silt from the bottom of the marina and dropping it off at Sprey Point, near Teignmouth. This dredging vessel is designed to take away 150 tons of mud at a time and can perform around two loads per tide.

According to Pete Woodham-Kay, the improvements should be finished in the next couple of days.
