UK: Hafan Pwllheli Marina Dredging Gets Underway
The Hafan Pwllheli marina dredging program, located in North Wales, is moving ahead, according to pbo.co.uk.
The dredger is on site and making good progress, said Wil Williams, Hafan Pwllheli marina manager, and added: “We expect the work to be finished in readiness for the new season.”
Around 90,000 cubic metres of dredged material be placed at a containment wall, construced last month for this purpose.
The deeper channel will allow an easier access for most yachts to the Hafan Pwllheli marina.
The contractors are expected to be on site for around nine weeks, announced hafanpwllheli.co.uk.
