UK: Perenco extends offshore helicopter deal with Bristow

Offshore helicopter specialist Bristow has been awarded a three-year contract extension from the oil company Perenco UK Ltd.

The extension covers seven-day-a-week coverage in the UK Southern North Sea through December 2021.

Under the three-year extension, Bristow will support of Perenco’s operations offshore Norwich by providing crew transfers.

Bristow plans to support the operations from its Norwich base using up to five existing Leonardo AW139s helicopters and dedicated back-up support.

This increases Bristow’s aircraft support from three to up to five operational AW139s compared to its current contract with Perenco, Bristow said.
