UK: RWE to Host Additional Triton Knoll Exhibition

UK RWE to Host Additional Triton Knoll Exhibition

RWE npower renewables have announced they will be hosting an additional opportunity for local residents to find out more about plans for the electrical system for the Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm. A public exhibition will be held for all those interested in finding out more on Saturday 13th April at Hale Magna Village Hall between 11.00 and 16:00.

Following requests from local residents and in agreement with North Kesteven and South Holland District Councils, RWE npower renewables has sent out consultation documents to an additional 700 households. RWE npower renewables is also hosting an additional public exhibition in Great Hale to give people who were unable to attend previous events the opportunity to find out more information and to meet the project team.

To ensure that everybody has time to respond, responses from all residents and businesses will continue to be accepted until the 30th April.

Jacob Hain, Project Manager for the proposed Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm, said: “Being a responsible developer and having listened to local people, we have agreed an extension to the consultation with the local authorities and are holding an additional public event.

“Whilst people do not need to have received a copy of the questionnaire through their letter box to participate in the consultation, we welcome as much feedback as possible and will ensure that new participants are given enough time to respond.

“We are really grateful that so many people have participated in the consultation so far.

“We are really keen to listen to the views of local residents and encourage people to visit us on 13th April where information about the project will be on display.”

Responses and feedback received from local residents and businesses will help RWE npower renewables choose the final zones for the electrical infrastructure.
