UK set for another Qatari LNG shipment

The UK’s South Hook terminal is about to receive another cargo of Qatari liquefied natural gas.

According to the port data, the 263,000 cbm Al Ghuwairiya LNG tanker will arrive at the terminal on November 26

This will be the second shipment in a short period as the LNG carrier Umm Slal is scheduled for arrival only three days earlier.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
