UK set to get LNG cargo

The Al Samriya LNG carrier, with a capacity of 263,000 cubic metres, is due to arrive in the UK’s South Hook terminal on July 14, port data reveals.

This is the second cargo that is scheduled to dock at the South Hook terminal in the next seven days and they are both sailing from Ras Laffan in Qatar.

The South Hook LNG terminal, a part of the Qatargas 2 integrated value chain, is one of the largest LNG re-gasification terminals in Europe.

The terminal provides the UK with a significant proportion of its natural gas requirements.
