UPS, DHL and Transportes Monfort confirmed to attend NGV Conference in Amsterdam

The 3rd Annual Natural Gas Vehicles Conference, organised by FC Gas Intelligence, is returning to Amsterdam this November 25th-26th to connect Europe’s major fleets with the NGV industry.

Transport companies, including UPS, DHL, KBC Logistics, Ninatrans and Transportes Monfort, join major distributors including IKEA, H-P, Sainsbury’s and Proctor & Gamble to hear from gas suppliers, engine and vehicle manufacturers and equipment providers, see the world’s only BioCNG powered Porsche, as well as attend an exclusive site visit to a GDF Suez LNG filling station.

Now in its third year, the Natural Gas Vehicles Europe Conference will continue to provide fleets and investors alike the critical business connections, and insight into how to invest in NGVs for their business. This year GDF Suez will host an exclusive free site visit to their LNG filling station in Duiven. This is a rare opportunity for fleets and investors to gain real-world experience using LNG dispensers as well as learn how to successfully invest in developing infrastructure from a successful station developer.

Cryostar will also present on their LNG cooling technology in use at the station, in addition to the main conference agenda. Philippe Heisch, Global Sales Manager for LNG Distribution at Cryostar says the market has seen growth and emphasised the need for the industry meeting to pull all the actors together.

“Europe is currently seeing an increasing demand for LNG thanks to the adoption of the latest European directive about alternative fuels for transport, and this event is the right place to get all actors together and define the path for future,” he said.

Developers can also meet with exhibitors including Bohlen & Doyen (SAG Group), service providers for station developers. Anton van der Burgt of Bohlen & Doyen also commented on the need for industry collaboration between vehicle manufacturers and infrastructure developers – a key aspect of the event agenda; ‘Collaboration over the total chain is the only way to larger scale deployment’. Developers looking for partners can also hear about standardisation for their facility from NMi and cryogenic tanks from M1 Engineering.

Finally, for the first time the world’s only BioCNG powered Porsche will be exhibited at the event.

Owner Roel Swierenga says “we are happy to present our biogas Porsche 928 Revolution at this top European NGV event to promote and showcase that driving on (bio)cng has a great future. Natural gas vehicles help reduce emissions, contribute to better air quality and will play a crucial role in meeting environmental targets across the world.”

Over 200 of the fleet managers, infrastructure developers, equipment manufactures and gas suppliers surveyed will convene in Amsterdam this November 25-26 for the 3rd Annual Natural Gas Vehicles Conference. This is the premier event for the NGV industry – connecting fleets with suppliers to advance projects and share the success of natural gas as a fuel. As well as the leading fleets, hear from the European Commission, Linde Gas, Gas Natural Fenosa, CNH Industrial, Daimler and 30+ more fantastic speakers.
