USA: Andrew Way Appointed Vice President of Services for GE Oil & Gas

 

Andrew Way, 39, has been named vice president of Services for GE Oil & Gas, a business within GE Energy.

In this role, Way will be responsible for leading continued growth of the business’ equipment repair, maintenance, upgrade and remote monitoring, and diagnostics capabilities across all segments of the oil & gas industry.

Way started his GE career in 1996 in the sourcing organization of GE Aircraft Engines. He held roles of increasing responsibility in Aircraft Engines and Engine Services, before moving to Equipment Services in 2001 where he was promoted to CEO of GE Equipment Services UK.

In October 2007, Way joined the GE Oil & Gas business as the Global Services operations leader. He was promoted to Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing leader in December 2008.

Way holds a master’s in engineering from the University of Wales College in the United Kingdom.
