USA: Coos Bay, Potential Source of Offshore Wind Energy

Even though the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay still has not disclosed the name of the contract signatory for an exclusive negotiating agreement of six months duration, the Port voiced its anticipation that the company in question will be the winner of a contract with the Department of Energy.

Namely, various companies are competing for a leading role in setting up wind energy platforms on the West Coast.

The west birth of the Oregon Gateway Terminal slip is the planned location for erecting wind energy platforms, where DEO wants to carry out testing of offshore wind energy.
