Corps Releases DEA for Dredged Material Unloading

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, released a draft environmental assessment on a proposed action to unload dredged material from the Grand Encampment Placement Site in Buffalo County, Wis.

The placement site has reached its storage capacity, and the Corps is proposing to unload approximately 500,000 cubic yards of dredged material. The material would be unloaded either mechanically or hydraulically.

The purpose of this action is to maintain storage at the site for future placement of dredged material.
