USA: Missouri River Dredging Set for Monday

The dredging project on the Bismarck side of the Missouri River is set to commence on Monday.

According to the Burleigh County engineer Marcus Hall, the preparation work has been completed during this week, and crews are ready for the dredging.

The project includes removing of about 11,000 cubic yards of material, and this will create a 500-foot channel 7 feet deep, reports bismarcktribune.com.

Hall stated that the dredging is expected to be wrapped up by the end of November.
